Personalised Communication Clothing
Make one of our Signature Communication Clothing designs more personal to the person wearing it.
Our personalised service lets you adapt an existing My Best Interest design without starting a completely bespoke project. It is suitable for individuals, families, schools, speech and language therapists and care providers.
What can be personalised?
- Add the wearer’s name
- Change selected words or phrases
- Change the language used on the garment
- Choose different pictures or communication symbols
- Adjust colours and selected design details
- Request a different placement where practical
What is possible will depend on the garment and design. We will confirm everything with you before production begins.
Signature, personalised or bespoke?
Signature Collection: Choose one of our existing designs exactly as shown.
Personalised: Start with an existing design and make selected changes, such as adding a name, changing words, language, symbols or colours.
Bespoke: Work with us to develop something completely individual around specific communication, sensory, accessibility or wardrobe needs.
How it works
- Choose the Signature garment or design you would like to personalise.
- Tell us what you would like to change.
- We check what is possible and confirm the price and expected completion time.
- Where appropriate, you approve the personalised details before we make your item.
Personalisation prices
Word changes: £10 extra per garment to change one or more words to your chosen wording.
Picture swaps: £10 extra per garment to replace one or more pictures with pictures from our existing design library.
Language changes: £10 extra per garment. Please send us the exact wording you want printed.
Schools, organisations and multiple garments: There is no minimum order. Contact us for a quotation for larger orders.
We will always confirm the full price before beginning work.
Timescales
Please allow 14–21 days before dispatch, although personalised orders are typically completed within 14 days or less. More involved changes and larger orders may take longer. We will confirm the expected timescale before you order.
For schools, SLTs and care providers
We can personalise clothing for an individual student or client, create garments for staff to use when modelling communication, or adapt designs for a wider team or setting. Tell us who the clothing is for, how it will be used and what you would like it to help communicate.
Symbols and artwork
If you would like us to use a particular symbol system, logo or piece of artwork, please tell us when enquiring. You may need to provide evidence that you have permission or an appropriate licence for us to reproduce it.
